After studying Cultural Industries and Economy as well as Business Administration Janine worked in the art fair business for several years. In 2009 she started her long-term experience as Vice President in the set up, conception and organization of international awards in the fields of design, brand and innovation across all sectors as well as the architecture and interior industries.
2017 she was transferring into the German Design Council’s Marketing and Communications department being responsible for all activities regarding Public Relations, Marketing on- and offline, and the setup of a bilingual content platform.
Supporting companies and young talents through excellent networking and raising awareness of how to increase impact through the strategic use of design is the main focus of her work.
Janine is part of various international design award jurys and also experienced as juror for newcomer design awards.
