Born and raised in Kosovo, Rinor moved to the US at the age of 17. After graduating with a master’s in Architecture in Vermont, he moved to New York to work for Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) Architects. While in New York, he worked on large-scale mixed-used commercial projects in China.
Later he moved to Shanghai to work on an urban planning project in central China, where he helped plan the residential district of the new sub-city of Changsha.
In 2010, he moved to the UAE to work on the new Abu Dhabi International Airport, where he spent seven years on the project. Rinor was a construction administration manager, and he ensured that the terminal was being built as it was designed. He worked on all aspects of the airport, starting from the foundation to the roof and to the interior components of the airport.
Since then, he has specialized in airport terminal architecture, and in 2018, he moved to Singapore as a design manager for Changi Terminal 5.
He now lives between New York and Dubai and is working on starting his own firm in office and residential architecture.
