F-SAM is the first rotary-wing craft with a single motor unit and a foldable wing that can achieve two flight modes. The F-SAM doubles as an educational tool and a potential sensor deployment platform. As an educational tool, it demonstrates the effects of fundamental physics relationships for learners of all ages. As a potential sensor deployment platform, it allows for low-cost precision deployment for purposes.
