ID21 designed and built LifeLab@SLEC, an experiential learning centre for St Luke’s Eldercare (SLEC) focusing on technology, innovation, and research. Sensory elements and virtual technologies engage visitors, including SLEC staff, caregivers, volunteers, and students, in exploring eldercare. LifeLab@SLEC offers immersive experiences, scenario-based training, and interactive elements like ageing simulation suits, facilitating learning and empathy. The space is adaptable for various activities, showcasing SLEC’s commitment to innovative eldercare solutions and improving the community care sector.
